Ayurvedic Treatment for Warts ( मस्से )
A wart is small, benign, noncancerous growths appear when your skin is infected with human papillomavirus (HPV) family and mode of transmission is probably through direct contact, but autoinoculation is possible. its incubation period will be in the range of 2-3 month. it may appear on any part of the body.
मस्से त्वचा पर एक उपज की तरह होते हैं, और सुसाध्य समझे जाते हैं | मस्से ‘ह्युमन पैपिल्लोमा वाइरस’ के कारण विकसित होते हैं। यह तेज़ी से फैलते हैं, और इनमे से कई मस्से बरसों तक बने रहते हैं जिनका इलाज कराना ज़रूरी होता है।
मस्से गर्दन, हाथ, पीठ, चिन, पैर इत्यादि कहीं पर भी हो सकते है। लेकिन चेहरे पर होने पर यह खूबसूरती को बिगाड़ देते हैं।
आयुर्वेद के अनुसार बताये गए चर्मकील की तुलना आधुनिक विज्ञान में बताये Warts से की जा सकती है ।
Possible Condition-
-Every person’s immune system responds differently to the virus, who have a weak immune system, and bite their nails or pick at hangnails are prone to getting warts. sometimes virus may also transfer from finger to on face during a nail-biting.
– Warts are highly contagious and are mainly passed by direct skin contact. it may spread by daily uses things towel razer or direct contact and virus can penetrate through injured and soft skin.
Types of Warts –
A. Common wart / सामान्य मस्सा (verruca vulgaris)- A raised wart with roughened surface, most common on hands and knees.
इस प्रकार के मस्से आमतौर पर हाथ की उंगलियों, पैर की उंगलियों, हाथों, कोहनी और घुटनों पर दिखाई देते हैं। इस प्रकार के मस्से में रक्त वाहिकाएं मस्से पर काले निशान छोड़ देती हैं जिससे इसका रंग काला होता है।
B. Flat wart (verruca plana)– A small, smooth flattened wart, tan or flesh-colored, which can occur in large numbers; most common on the face, neck, hands, wrists, and knees.
फ्लैट वार्ट्स आकार में छोटे होते हैं, जो अधिकतर चेहरे में दिखाई देते हैं | इन्हें किशोर मस्सा (juvenile warts) भी कहा जाता है।
C. Filiform wart– A thread or finger-like wart, most common on the face, especially near the eyelids and lips.
फिलिफ्रोम मस्से आकार में लंबे और संकीर्ण होते हैं जो कि ज्यादातर मुंह, नाक, आंखों, होट पलकों और गर्दन के आसपास पाए जाते हैं।
D. Plantar wart ( verruca pedis)- A hard sometimes painful lump, often with multiple black specks in the center; usually only found on pressure points on the soles of the feet.
इस प्रकार के मस्से अधिकतर पैरों के तलवों में होते हैं, जो कि दर्दनाक होते हैं। यह त्वचा से बाहर होते हैं जो त्वचा की गहराई में बढ़ता है। इस प्रकार के मस्से कठोर त्वचा से घिरे होते हैं। जिन लोगों को यह मस्सा होता है उन्हें आराम से चलने में दिक्कत होती है।
E. Mosaic wart- A group of tightly clustered plantar-type warts, commonly on the hands or soles of the feet.
इस तरह के मस्से हाथ और पैर के नाखूनों के नीचे होते हैं।

F. Genital wart (venereal wart, condyloma acuminatum, verruca acuminata)- Wart affecting the genital areas.
इस तरह के मस्से यौन सक्रियताओं के माध्यम से होते हैं | ये अक्सर किसी संक्रमित व्यक्ति के मौखिक, योनि या गुदा आदि त्वचा के सीधे संपर्क के दौरान फैल सकते हैं।
Diagnosis – the diagnosis of warts usually confirms by visual examination.
Treatment –
warts by different methods like chemically, electrically or surgically and these can be achieved by cryosurgery, keratolytic ointments, plasters and solutions, curettage, electrodesiccation, and destructive acids.
आयुर्वेदिक उपचार –
आयुर्ववेदानुसार चर्मकील का उपचार औषधि सेवन व बाहरी प्रयोग दवारा व क्षारकर्म और अग्निकर्म द्वारा किया जाता है ।
Materials –
Internal medicine –
– Antiviral ayurvedic drugs like Immunsante and others.
– Ghandhak Rasayan
– Arogyavardhini Vati
– Rasmanikya
– Panchnimbadi vati
– Kanakbinduristha
– Manjisthadi qwath
External application –
– Ayurvedic medicine ointment which has Sulphur, Zinc, Neem oil, and Karanja oil.
– Tankan bhasma + lemon juice
– Yava kshar + Rock salt + dehydrated lime powder
– Yava kshar / Plash kshar / Apamarg kshar apply with duct tape bandage
– Kasisadi oil with duct tape
– apply milky sap of Banyan tree
– Garlic or clove paste
– Dandelion sap and Indian sorrel leaves
– Indian gooseberry for 2 weeks
– Rub slice of potato or coconut
– camphor oil/clove oil/castor oil
– Aloe vera Extract
– Banana peel, papaya, pineapple
– Apamarg kshar + distilled water
– Changeri ( Oxalis corniculata ) leaves
– Basil leaves paste
– Apple vinegar + rock salt
Methods –
– लेखन कर्म
– क्षार कर्म
– अग्नि कर्म -गर्म शलाका (pointed metallic rod) or electrocautery.
Prevention – To reduce the risk of catching or spreading warts –
– Do not touch other people’s warts.
– Do not use other people’s towels, washcloths, socks, shoes or other personal items.
– Do not scratch warts or verrucae, as this can cause them to spread.
– Cover warts or verrucae with a waterproof covering when swimming, and socks or gloves elsewhere.
– Do not brush, comb, shave, or clip hair in areas that have warts.
– When filing or cutting nails do not use the same utensil on the infected nail and the healthy nails.
– Do not bite fingernails if warts are near them.
– Wash hands thoroughly after touching a wart.
